 GARLIC COOKING CONTEST

2011

 Contest Guidelines 

  •  Amateur Chefs are invited.
  • The recipe must be original or adapted by the contestant.
  • Garlic must be a prominent ingredient.

  • Must be 18 or older.

  •  Four recipes will be selected to participate at the festival September 19, 2009.
  •  Food may be prepped ahead of time, but cooking must be done at the festival. 
  •  Contestants will have 45 minutes to prepare food, and talk to the audience.

  •  Enough for 50 bite-size samples should be available for judging.

  •  The festival will supply utensils for the samples.

  •  Bring your own grill, burner, or camp stove, and cooking equipment.

  •  The MC will help hand out numbered samples, and score sheets.

  •  After tasting, the audience will vote.

  •  The scores will be tallied, and the recipes ranked.

  •  Prizes will be awarded at the end of the day.
